TTwitter has announced the appointment of Javier Pagán as the new Country Manager for Twitter Spain. Javier, who joined the Twitter team last year as Business Development Director, is now expanding his role and taking on the management of the business with the aim of strengthening the company's commercial area.
In his new role, Pagán will be responsible for overseeing and strengthening customer relations and leading the business strategy to continue growing in Spain. As the company explained in a press release, “Javier Pagán’s knowledge of the market, of clients’ businesses and his knowledge of the digital world will be of great benefit to further support business partners and their business objectives in Spain.”

According to the latest “ Study on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram users in Spain” by The Social Media Family, Pagán arrives at a key moment for the network in our country. Twitter continues to lose weight in Spain and has 4.1 million users, which represents 300,000 fewer users than in 2019. However, on this social network, profiles grew by 1.2% in the 50 most populated cities in Spain, especially in Granada, Madrid, Seville, Valencia and Barcelona, where the social network has more penetration.
