A CTA button should pique the potential customer's curiosity and encourage them to click. The text should be appealing and inviting, but not too pushy. Examples of good CTAs include "Secure your spot now," "Register immediately," or "Register today." Non-binding offers such as "Download a free e-book" or "Start your free trial" are also effective. Active verbs such as "subscribe," "shop," "finland phone number data order," or "contact" encourage customers to click.



Try to use active verbs to encourage your potential customers to click on your offer:

For example, if you want to request a newsletter subscription , you could choose “subscribe,” “register,” or “log in.”
In a purchasing process , active verbs such as “shop”, “order”, “buy”, “access”, “buy”, “get” or “book” are suitable.
For contact forms you could choose “contact” or “call”.
For many other CTAs, verbs such as “inspire,” “compare,” “find,” “read,” “plan,” or “download” can also be used.


When choosing words, it's crucial to consider the buyer persona and the stages of the customer journey. The CTA offer and the words used should be chosen accordingly, depending on which stage of the customer journey the potential customer is currently in. If they want to learn more about the products first, a "Buy now" button is completely out of place. Likewise, a customer who is about to complete a purchase won't click on a checklist—they know what they want to buy and have already made their decision. Depending on which buyer persona your offer is aimed at, the wording should also be different.
