Use descriptive file names, titles, and alt text

Google extracts information about the image's subject from the content of the page it appears on, including the image's description and title. Whenever possible, make sure your images are placed near relevant text and on pages that are relevant to their subject.

Likewise, Google can use file names as subtle clues to infer the subject brazil whatsapp lead of an image. Use short but descriptive file names whenever possible. For example, my-new-black-kitten.jpg is IMG00023.JPG better than . mage1.jpg, pic.gif, 1.jpg etc. whenever possible. If your site contains thousands of images, we recommend letting the system automatically name the images. If you localize your images, remember to translate the file names as well; if you use non-Latin characters or special characters, follow the URL encoding guidelines.

When providing additional metadata for an image, the most important attribute is alternative text (text that describes the image), which also helps make the image more accessible to users who cannot see the image on the web page, including those using screen readers or those on low-bandwidth network connections.

Google uses alt text in conjunction with computer vision algorithms and the content of the page to understand the subject of the image. Image alt text also acts as anchor text if you decide to use images as links.
