Hello everyone! My name is Denis, I am the founder and head of the Whiteweb web studio. With the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine, our studio practically ceased to exist for half a year. But we decided not to give up and continue working.
Of course, we had to face serious challenges, because in fact we had to start everything almost from scratch. According to analytics, in 2022, the Ukrainian IT market fell by 65% compared to 2021. This is not surprising — companies were concerned about preserving the lives of their employees, not the pace of work.
And if for the first 2 months, contracts with foreign contractors still helped to keep the pants on, then starting in May 2022, activity on international projects began to decline. It became clear to clients that the war would not end quickly, so they began to look for more stable contractors.
