The AEPD (Spanish Data Protection Agency) published a rather controversial guide on the correct use of cookies on a website.
I have prepared a very clear and lucid post with a summary of what this guide explains and explained it in a more down-to-earth way.
And be careful not to do it wrong, I have to say that 90% of the websites I currently visit are punishable from the point of view of cookies and the evil of many does not apply here…
There are many well-known and reputable websites that send huge amounts of cookies to their visitors without them having any alternative in this regard other than to meekly accept them.
Ikea and Vueling have already been heavily sanctioned for downloading colombia mobile database cookies even if the visitor has not
Consent in both cases was implicit and there was no option to oppose their installation.
Fake news in GDPR - Vueling sanctioned
It is perfectly legal to send DMs (private messages) if I am the administrator of a fan page
Fake news, uncertain and dangerous.
Having a fan page does not mean that you can establish private commercial communications with the people who follow you, assuming that if they are followers you have their consent to send them commercial information.
expressly accepted their use
