Page Experience: Meet Google's new algorithm.

Post by monira444 »

A new way to measure the experience of those who visit your page
Google has announced that it will be introducing a Page Experience algorithm update in 2021. This will be a key factor in ranking on the search engine.

This advance notice allows you to adjust your site for upcoming updates.

Therefore, focus on the factors that influence its relevance so that it appears on the first page of Google.

What is Page Experience?
First of all, Google itself explains:

“ The Page Experience signal measures aspects of bitcoin data how users perceive the experience of interacting with a web page. Optimizing for these factors makes the web more enjoyable for users across browsers and surfaces and allows sites to evolve toward mobile user expectations. ”

In other words, Google wants to ensure that the sites that appear at the top of the search engine are the best for the public.

Therefore, websites that are already optimized with the consumer experience in mind will rank higher than those that are not.

Priority will still be given to sites with more general information, however, those that have better responsiveness, interactivity, security and speed for the user will be ahead.

With this update, the intention is to make the internet an easy place to navigate, avoiding pop-ups, screens that open by themselves and unwanted clicks, for example.

Core Web Vitals metrics
The metrics will be based on “Core Web Vitals”. In other words, they will indicate everything from speed and interaction capacity to visual stability.

Thus, the following metrics stand out:

LCP (Largest Contentful Paint): Evaluates the time required to load the largest element on the page, usually a high-resolution image. This index should be up to 2.5 seconds from the first load.
Therefore, one option to improve your LCP is to reduce the number of images on the home page and reduce or remove the number of scripts and widgets.
