The national IT industry's personnel shortage is 500-700 thousand people, with the total number of people employed in the segment being 740 thousand, according to a statement by Maksut Shadayev, head of the Ministry of Digital Development, at a meeting with government members, as reported by RBC. According to the minister, such a number of specialists is not enough to maintain the high rates of development of the industry.

The powerful extensive growth hungary whatsapp resource last year can be explained by the new scale of tasks that Russian software vendors and in-house development teams faced. Import substitution processes caused by sanctions restrictions required the creation of new functionality in Russian software products.

However, the quantitative growth of 12% over the past year – such figures were, for example, voicedRBC at the end of April, citing information from Maxim Parshin , Deputy Head of the Ministry of Digital Development, is only the "tip of the iceberg"! The increase in the number of employees required hiring an additional 81 thousand specialists. But some specialists had to be replaced! Let us recall that last year, according to rough estimates, more than 100 thousand "IT specialists" left the country. And although 80% continued to work for Russian IT companies, 20% of this number had to be replaced with new workers. A simple calculation shows that in addition to the 81 thousand new "IT specialists" hired, another 20 thousand were needed to fill the vacant positions.

The total number of IT specialists hired last year on the Russian market is over 100,000. Hiring such a number of employees is an extremely complex task with an expensive solution. Each of the hired employees had to be found (taking into account the shortage of specialists on the Russian market), conduct several rounds of interviews with them, assess their qualifications and, finally, complete the onboarding processes with the new employee. Moreover, the deadlines for completing this entire range of tasks were tight - just a few months, and in some cases, a few weeks. Note that the national IT industry coped with this challenge, which perfectly characterizes the maturity of the entire complex of HR processes in specialized companies.
