Recall: the first flight of the J-36 was captured on mobile phones by locals near the city of Chengdu in Sichuan Province. This event took place on the birthday of the founder of the People's Republic of China, Mao Zedong, on December 26.
Videos and screenshots show how the new product demonstrates its maneuverability with a characteristic tailless delta-shaped body. During the flight, the Chinese development was accompanied by a two-seater version of the Chengdu J-20S aircraft. This duet allows for a visual comparison of their sizes. In particular, it becomes clear that the length of the J-36 is comparable to the length of the J-20S, which is approximately 20 meters.
Fun fact: On the same day that the J-36 made its flight, another sms gateway chile notable fighter, believed to be built by the Shenyang Aircraft Corporation, was spotted in the air along with a Sukhoi Su-27 clone. Both of these sixth-generation fighters are believed to have complex aerodynamic designs designed to reduce radar visibility. More details about them are written in another Hi-Tech Mail article .
