Interoperability aims to create a more collaborative and connected environment , allowing users of different platforms to communicate without restrictions. For example, a WhatsApp user could send a message to a user of another messaging app that has opted to enable interoperability.

How interoperability will be implemented
The proposed technical solution for interoperability is based on the existing client/server architecture in Meta . This architectural choice is considered to be the most efficient way to implement this capability and presents several significant benefits.

First, by requiring clients to connect to the Meta infrastructure, it is possible to maximize security for all users. This is achieved by applying integrity checks similar to those performed for existing Meta users.
