Create a WooCommerce Product Bundle

Now, let's get to the exciting part: creating your first product bundle in WooCommerce.

Before we start grouping products, make sure you have all the individual items ready in your WooCommerce store. If you’re new to adding products, check out our WooCommerce simplified guide first .

You can also choose to import your WooCommerce products in bulk to make the process faster.

When you’re ready, go to Products » Add New in your WordPress dashboard. Give your package an attention-grabbing product name and description , just like you would with any regular item.

Then simply select “Product Bundle” from the dropdown menu.

After that, go to the “Bundle Options” tab in the left menu.

Here, you need to click on the “Add product to the bundle” button to start creating your bundle.

A pop-up window will appear showing the available products. Simply click “Add” for each item you want to include in your package.

You can close the pop-up when you are done selecting products.

Now, let's customize each product in the package.

For variable products, you can filter the variations to include. Or you can leave this field blank so that all options are available.

You can also define default variants.

But you can also skip this step if you don't want to.

Then you can change the product name and description settings.

You can use the default product details, create a custom name and description for the product, or hide them completely.

For the product name, we recommend using the default name to maintain consistency and help customers easily identify items.

However, for the product description, we prefer to hide it to avoid cluttering the product page .

The next setting allows you to hide product images. But we suggest keeping them visible so customers can see exactly what’s included in their package.

At this point, you can also apply discounts to individual items. These discounts will only apply if you select Per-Item Pricing (where each product maintains its own price) instead of Fixed Bundle Pricing (a set price for the entire bundle) later on.

For example, with the price per item:

You could set Product A at 15% off its original price
Product B with 20% discount
Product C with 10% discount

But if you think you want to use this approach, make sure to turn on the “Apply a discount” setting and enter your preferred discount percentage.

Each product in your package can also have specific quantity limits. This is particularly useful if certain items are low in stock.

Additionally, you can set the product as optional (allowing users to add the product to the bundle or not) or hide the product in the bundle.
