It's the same old story: a new media arrives and immediately decrees a death sentence for the previous one. Determinists said that radio would put an end to newspapers, and TV, in turn, would put an end to them. And the small screen would be destroyed by another screen, the computer. SMS
SMS was the first mobile messaging channel, launched in uganda mobile database December 1992 by a British man named Neil Papworth, with a text that was summarized as “Merry Christmas”. After 24 years, SMS, despite so many innovations that have emerged, continues to

be widely used for a variety of purposes. Regardless of the type and level of technology, price and operating system, it is a service common to all mobile phones, that is, accessible to a variety of audiences.

The format has not changed much since its conception: it allows messages of a maximum of 160 characters. But for those who know how to make good use of little space, it is still very useful.

Advantages
One of the great advantages of SMS is its universal nature. Smartphones, regular cell phones, connected to the internet or not, in all these circumstances it is possible to use this medium.
