Netflix will be introducing the first version of its ad-supported service. This doesn't mean that all subscribers will have to watch commercials, as current plans will remain ad-free, but there will now be a budget ad-supported plan and a premium plan.

On the advertiser side, ad space will be sold at a fixed price rather than auctioned off, and the company says hundreds of brands around the world have already purchased most of their initial inventory.
Greg Peters, COO of the company, said the new subscription will be available on November 1 in Canada and Mexico. Following this, on November 3 it will be implemented in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and the United States. And finally, on November 10 it will be launched in Spain.
Although the platform hopes to cover all the regions where it is present, for now these are the first countries where the change will be applied.
