Set a specific disk quota for each user

Post by Rina7RS »

To set a specific disk quota for each user on the system, start by following the same steps as in the previous method until you reach the Quota Settings dialog box.

Once the Quota Settings for Windows 11 dialog box appears, check the Enable quota management checkbox, and then click the Quota Entries button at the bottom.

When the Quota Entries window appears, click the Quota algeria mobile database menu in the upper left corner, and then click New Quota Entry.

In the Enter the object names to select box that appears, enter the name of the user account for which you want to set the quota and click Check Names before clicking OK.

Now click on the option “Limit disk space to” and enter the quota in the field provided. Then click on “Set warning level to” and enter the quota at which the user will receive a warning and select the preferred unit of measurement for both before clicking OK.

Repeat these steps for all user accounts for which you want to set a quota.
Monitoring disk usage
By setting up disk quotas for different users, you can easily control how your disk space is used.

Open File Explorer, right-click the drive you want to monitor, and select Properties.
