Prepare HubSpot : After assessing your data, your HubSpot CRM needs to be ready to properly link all of your data , so all fields (called “properties” in HubSpot) should align with your previous system. HubSpot’s default properties may not match your previous structure, which means you’ll need to create custom properties or objects. Perform Imports : We’re now ready to import—but not all of the data! First, we’ll perform a test import to identify any errors or issues that may arise during the data transfer process. This test import serves as an opportunity to validate the accuracy and integrity of the imported data, ensure everything is properly mapped and integrated within HubSpot, and fix any errors. After another round or two of test imports, you’ll have a smooth transition to HubSpot with the final import of all of your data.
