Fiscal storage device (FSD)

Post by subornaakter20 »

In simple terms, it is a chip for collecting and storing transaction data, an independent unit inside the online cash register, which must be purchased (it cannot be rented) and changed approximately every one to three years.

It collects information about each online payment on the site and forwards it to the fiscal data operator. Fiscal storage devices are sold by the same companies as cash registers.

When choosing, check whether the gmx email list model is included in the state register and whether its validity period has expired.

There are models designed for 13, 15 and 36 months of operation. The Federal Tax Service puts forward the following requirements:

Who should buy a 36-month storage device? Who should buy a storage device for 13 and 15 months?
For companies specializing in providing services.

For those who work under a simplified tax system, on a patent, under a single agricultural tax or UTII.

For those whose goods require excise stamps.

For those who work under a combined scheme: simplified tax system plus their own tax scheme.

For companies providing seasonal services.

For those whose cash registers operate in autonomous mode (a necessary necessity for remote areas).

Individuals or legal entities performing the functions of a payment agent.

The storage capacity of the drives is the same, no matter whether it is designed for 36 or 13 months of use. The unit must be replaced immediately as soon as the memory runs out.

The drive models are designated by the following symbols: FN-1.1 and FN-1.0. The latter is no longer valid since 2019 and is subject to replacement with 1.05 (through the manufacturer, you just need to contact them).

When purchasing a drive, you receive a guide from the seller on installation, integration with the cash register, computer and accounting program. Technical support for setup is also provided by the seller.

Fiscal data operator (FDO)
An operator is an organization (the list is provided on the tax service website) that collects data from cash registers and sends it to the Federal Tax Service.

Plus, the OFD redirects information about online payments on the website to the tax office and sends receipts to clients by email or SMS.

There are companies that include check mailing in their list of subscription services. For example, 1C, Taxcom.

You can sign an agreement with the OFD by coming to the company's office or by putting your electronic signature through the website.

Study all the points of the agreement, find out the number of transactions allowed to be carried out during the day, whether round-the-clock service is provided. How long is the transaction information stored (the law requires a minimum of five years).

Many OFDs provide a range of useful additional services regarding checks, bookkeeping and technical assistance.

The payment system sends the buyer only a confirmation of the money transfer, but the receipt itself is sent by the OFD.

When registering a cash register, you will need to enter your OFD data, which will appear after signing an agreement with it.

The operator will provide instructions for launching additional services upon request.
