Email Personalization and Salutation

Post by sami »

I will try to present a situation that has happened to me more than once and I still do not know whether this type of commercial communication in B2B is a sign of the times, a result of generational change, or technological progress? Or maybe a lack of thoughtful behavior...?

Ultimately, however, I still do not know how I should behave and in what form I should communicate with the other party?

Service inquiry and seller's response
I was interested in establishing B2B cooperation; I wanted to ask viber data about the terms of purchase of selected business services for my company (entity, not privately for myself). So I sent an inquiry with a description of what I was interested in. Since this was our first contact via email, I used the form "Mr./Mrs." in my message.
However, I happened to receive several times in response:
"Hey Rafał..."
"Hey Rafał..."
"Hi Rafał..."

etc.
At the end also... "In the attachment you will find the offer prepared for you..." or something similar.

And that was absolutely no problem for me.

However, it appeared at the time of feedback from my side.
