Let’s go through the steps. Step one: Open a Microsoft Word document Launch Microsoft Word and compose your email in the document as you would if you were typing it in an email program. Step two: Start Mail Merge Click on the “Mailings” tab at the topmost row of the control panel, as indicated by the red arrow in the image below: 'Mailings' tab with the 'Start Mail Merge' dropdown selected for email campaigns.
