ANDAs we told you last year, if you use ad blockers , your experience on YouTube won't be the same (or not as good). Now, they're tightening their control over third-party apps that violate YouTube's terms of service, specifically adblockers.

How adblockers affect YouTube viewing
YouTube reports that users who use third-party applications may experience buffering issues or may receive the following error when trying to watch a video: "The following content is not available in this application."

" We want to emphasize that our terms do not allow third-party apps to disable ads because that prevents the creator from being rewarded by the audience, and ads on YouTube help support creators and allow bosnia and herzegovina number data billions of people around the world to use the streaming service, " the platform's team said.

They understand that there are people who want an ad-free experience, but in the end there is a reason why they have YouTube Premium. This service offers a two-month free trial and then costs 11.99 euros per month.

They only allow third-party apps to use their API as long as they comply with their terms of service, and if they find an app that doesn't, they will take appropriate measures to protect their platform, creators, and viewers.

With this, YouTube aims to help those who create content on its platform, since for many of them, their only income comes from the ads that are inserted in their videos. In June 2023, some users who used user blockers were disabled, without being able to watch videos (although this measure was not deployed in all countries).
