You can now choose who can quote and reply to your posts in Threads

Threads, the text-based social network from the Meta Group, has announced new features that are already being implemented. The most notable of these is giving users the ability to choose who can quote and respond to their posts.
What's new in Threads
The main new feature is the ability to choose who can quote your posts. Just click on the three dots at the top of the post you want and select the option “Who can reply and quote”. You can choose between:
Any
Profiles you follow
Only mentioned profiles
Threads News
This is a departure from X (formerly Twitter) which belarus number data only lets you select who can reply to your posts. Adam Mosseri, CEO of Instagram and Threads, announced the arrival of this change on his own Threads profile: “ I hope this helps make Threads a more positive place and gives people more control over their experience.”
New to this is the ability to mute certain words, phrases, numbers, and emojis, as well as notifications about posts. The main goal of these tools is to protect users by giving them more control over the content they see on the platform.
