Talent Days: After the interview at Talent Days, did you feel that you would end up at
Paulina: I came to the fair with my mother, because she was also looking for a job at the time. I gave the TVN Warner Bros. Discovery stand a wide berth, because I thought I definitely had no chance of getting a job there. However, my mother encouraged me to submit my CV. Right at the fair, I asked if there was any chance of combining my studies with work in such a large company. There was no one there who could answer that question, but I got a call from them shortly after the fair and they dispelled my doubts.
Talent Days: I was just going to ask how list of syria consumer email
long you waited for the call and what emotions you experienced? Please tell me more about the recruitment process – did you schedule a meeting then?
Paulina: This was a period when everyone worked remotely. The recruitment process began with an initial phone interview. In my case, the interview was divided into two parts. During the first call, we talked about my English level and I was asked a few basic questions. I had the second interview with the department manager, who was supposed to be my superior. A buddy was also present, whose task is to introduce new people to the company. After the second interview, I was already waiting for a phone call with a decision.
Talent Days: And did you have any unusual tasks to perform during the recruitment interview? Something that surprised you and required a creative approach?
Paulina: The only thing that comes to my mind is that the entire recruitment interview, that is, the official part, was conducted in English. Moreover, it was difficult for me to list my flaws, because my current manager (whom I greet very much by the way!) pointed out each flaw I listed and stated that it was an advantage.
Talent Days: Do your superiors support you in any way, are they your backbone? Are they more like bosses or leaders?
Paulina: My superiors are a great support for my whole team. The team is quite small, so we have easy contact. There is always time once a week to organize a joint meeting and be able to talk and exchange our thoughts. The atmosphere is great both from the managers and the rest of the team.
Talent Days: Did you take part in any workshops at Talent Days?
Paulina: Yes, when it comes to workshops, I took part in one. I also took advantage of many attractions and even managed to win cinema tickets!
Talent Days: Would you recommend the fair to people looking for a job or internship? Or to people who don't have an idea for themselves yet?
