Since I work as an SEO consultant, I have always considered this space as my playground, my personal gym in which to experiment with ideas and techniques before proposing them to my clients. An approach that was very instructive… at least for a while. Having reached this point, however, I feel the need to tidy up the table a bit, to clean up the chaotic residues of my experiments. I mean, maybe I'm ready to become a responsible adult In my big cleaning plan the priorities are very clear.

In other words, barring access to what I call “the walkers”. The germany telegram data walkers and useless positionings You know those people who go into shops out of curiosity, look around and then leave without buying anything? Well, I define that kind of non-customers as strollers . Walkers also exist on the web, and they are all those users attracted by useless positionings. These visitors increase the traffic numbers on Search Console and Analytics, but in terms of conversion they are not worth a penny.

In a sense, they constitute a vanity metric . My experiments over the years have attracted large numbers of walkers. Any examples? Years ago I wrote an article analyzing the history of the Tamagotchi business, which went from boom to oblivion in less than two years. This article positioned itself very well for the query “dead tamagotchi”, even achieving a zero result in some cases. Since a surprising amount of people search for information about deceased digital pets, this placement continues to bring me traffic to the site years later.
