Introducing the new Vtiger module builder: create new modules, collect new data and generate new ideas

Any information a business collects about its leads and customers should be part of a 360-degree view available to sales, marketing and management. In line with this belief, we are pleased to announce the new Vtiger Module Builder .
The Module Builder was created with the sole purpose of taiwanese number allowing businesses to store and use more types of information than the standard contacts, deals, and campaigns. This goes beyond Vtiger's existing ability to add new fields to existing records, allowing you to create entirely new modules and records to collect and organize new information.
Create a module in 3 minutes
The module creator does exactly what its name suggests. Given just a few inputs, such as the module name, a list of desired fields, and a list of relationships with other modules, it creates a new module with the same features and capabilities as any other module in Vtiger.
Use it like any other module
Because this is like any other module, you can add, edit, or delete records just like a contact record. Records in the new module can also be searched, filtered, and even reported on, and if a record is linked to another record, such as a contact or project, you can find a link to it directly from the linked contact or project record, or vice versa.
Generate new ideas
As data begins to collect in a new module, analyze it with reports and use it to make better business decisions. For example, a property management firm could use the module builder to store properties separately from clients and create reports to see changes in average rental prices, the fastest growing square footage for rental properties, and more that would previously have been impossible if fields had only been added to the contact record.
In Action: Property Management with Vtiger
A property management firm manages one or more properties on behalf of each of its clients. In addition to storing client information in Vtiger, the firm also wants to store its clients’ properties. Using the module builder, the company adds a new module called “Properties.” Each property is then stored as a separate record with its address, square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms, price, and rental status recorded in separate fields. Since each property is associated with a client, whenever one of the firm’s employees works with a client, he or she can quickly retrieve information about the client’s property, its rental status, and any other information. The firm can later generate reports to assess property vacancies and other operational information.
The Module Builder transforms Vtiger from a tool that captures routine information about leads, contacts, and deals within a company into a tool that collects and uses any data a business uses in its operations, opening up a host of new possibilities.
