How ASUS RT-AX57 Go Works on the 5GHz Band

The ASUS RT-AX57 Go works well on the 2.4GHz band. The signal strength and speed it delivers are similar to other AX3000 dual-band wireless routers. However, for the best performance, you should use the Wi-Fi 6 standard instead of the older Wi-Fi 4.
I switched to the 5 GHz band and started measuring signal strength with NetSpot . Using the Wi-Fi 5 802.11ac standard, the ASUS RT-AX57 Go delivered good signal strength, on par with its competitors. Given MediaTek’s unique antenna design for the 5 GHz band, I was expecting a little more. Don’t get me wrong, though; these aren’t bad results, they’re just not as good as the product’s marketing would have you believe.

Switching to Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, I noticed a drop in signal strength. Again, the afghanistan telegram data unique antenna design didn’t seem to improve things much compared to other AX3000 dual-band wireless routers.

I moved on to the SpeedTest app . Using the Wi-Fi 5 standard, the ASUS RT-AX57 Go delivered download speeds on the lower end of the spectrum.

Surprisingly, the download speed was faster than the upload speed, sometimes by a huge margin.
