Corporate SEO is a totally different game than SEO for SMEs.
Not only does it mean working with much larger sites, but you take on a lot more responsibility in terms of scaling traffic, conversions, more stakeholders, more potential issues and bugs to deal with.
Working with websites at the level of corporations and large businesses means changing tactics, processes and mentality in general.
There will be plenty of SEOs who will have the opportunity to work on a large corporate project. However, there are professionals who see the channel from a completely new perspective and openly share the unique challenges, processes, and experience required to drive success (and prevent failure) on these types of projects.
