We were approached by the Russian division of a French software developer. The company creates complex IT solutions for aircraft control, mine life cycle regulation, and other complex things. The buyers are large businesses and state corporations.
The client wanted to increase the number of applications. But the Russian branch did not have the authority to change anything in the marketing strategy. Everything was controlled by the head office in France.
We studied the company's strategy and found a solution. One of the three ways to sell the company's products is through partners, Russian b2b companies with small budgets. We offered the client to pump up the partner direction. We set the same starting conditions for all partners, but promoted different brands.
The task was to ensure control over the partners' performance indicators. The budget was small, so we developed an inexpensive but effective version of end-to-end web analytics. With their help, the client could track the partners' indicators and requests for services.
