Recruitment challenges on the Polish labor market
TALENT DAYS: Hi! Thank you for sharing your perspective on recruiting for Talent Days. As a US company, what challenges do you face in recruiting young talent in Poland indonesia phone number example and why did you decide to open a branch in Wrocław?

APTEAN: Starting from the end - we decided to locate the technology center in Wrocław in the second half of 2022, with the ambition to provide services to our clients in Europe from this location. We see Wrocław as our technology hub , with a large base of IT specialists and linguists. Aptean is a global provider of products and services in the field of resource management systems for medium and large enterprises (ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning) based in Alpharetta, Georgia - as a result, our teams and clients are located on all continents. We started at the beginning of 2023 completely from scratch and currently employ 45 employees, with a growing tendency. In recruitment, we aim at both experienced people and those just starting their journey in IT and linguists (mainly people with German and English) - in this area we do not have any major recruitment challenges.

Preparations for Talent Days
TALENT DAYS: This is the second edition of Talent Days that you are taking part in. How do you prepare for the job fair to stand out among other employers?

APTEAN: For Aptean, people are the most important thing. That is why we come to Talent Days with a team of committed and enthusiastic employees who are very eager to tell the participants about our company. We run around the entire space and talk proactively with candidates - this is one of our secrets. We believe that it is extremely important to have a casual conversation about career aspirations, about the desire to develop with candidates and how Aptean is able to provide these opportunities to future employees.

How do they attract candidates?

TALENT DAYS: Do you have any pro tips on how to attract candidates?

APTEAN: First of all, we want to start the conversation easily and pleasantly. We start by asking about experience, possibly checking language skills, but the most important thing is to establish the motivation to start working in the IT industry or take on new professional challenges. Additionally, to engage candidates, we organize various competitions and games with attractive prizes during the Talent Days event.
