"The potential, of course, is much higher. To fully realize it, we need to more actively involve the business community. We will continue to provide state assistance," Mikhail Mishustin assured. In total, the government will allocate 5.2 billion rubles from the federal budget for the development of AI for 2024.

Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov put forward initiatives to update the national strategy in this industry. He outlined three key tasks: increasing computing power, providing the industry with personnel, and increasing the pace of implementation of artificial intelligence in industries.

"To provide the industry with computing power and infrastructure, we propose to launch a preferential loan at the investment stage for purchasing components for supercomputers. When moving to the operational phase, we propose to reduce the financial burden on business through accelerated depreciation of equipment," suggested Maxim Reshetnikov.
