Recording artists like Lady Gaga, Drake and Nicki Minaj should unionize, says Steve Stoute, CEO of digital music distribution startup UnitedMasters.
“Artists have not been involved in the discussions about the rates they are getting [for streaming],” he said at the Axios BFD conference in New York. “Whether it’s formally called bahrain whatsapp resource a union or some committee that represents their values,” artists need “a formal discussion” for “these kinds of deals,” Stoute said.
