It's just that we may start to get bored with a genre, when we keep writing about more or less the same things over and over again. What makes the difference is only the way it is presented. The truth is, we feel bored, but our readers and fans, may not necessarily feel the same way.
We try to change genres because we want to try something new. However, it's not certain that the changes we try to bring will be well received by our fans.
