Plans for the implementation of the main projects of two industrial competence centers (ICC) were presented by players in the mobile and fixed-line communications market at the Digital Transformation Forum. The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation selected eight such projects.

"Through the Mobile colombia whatsapp number database Communications and Fixed Communications ICCs, we have already reviewed about 40 applications for inclusion in the list of particularly significant projects, of which eight projects are at the implementation stage, aimed at creating operator-class solutions, subscriber access to communication services and specialized software (SW). The total amount of budget funds allocated to support the projects is about 8 billion rubles," said Dmitry Ugnivenko, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.

will support particularly significant projects with grants in the amount of 10.4 billion rubles.
In 2023, 19 particularly significant projects (ESP) received grants. The total amount of funds allocated was 19 billion rubles. According to the Ministry of Digital Development, in 2024, the budget provides 10.4 billion rubles for grant support for particularly significant projects.

He also said that the activities of the two ICCs will be felt in the daily lives of ordinary citizens: "Everyone uses mobile and home Internet every day. But it is very difficult to assess the capabilities of the implemented projects, since they are focused on solutions that make up the bulk of the entire infrastructure of telecom operators, on the basis of which access to digital data, services and services is provided."

Deputy CEO of KNS Group LLC (YADRO brand) Artem Ikoev shared plans for the next stages of the roadmap of the project being implemented: "The deadlines for the YADRO base station (BS) roadmap are tight, but we are meeting them. We continue to form a team, have attracted another 300 people. 2024 will be more productive than the previous one, because many products are appearing. If in 2023 we conducted successful tests within the framework of operators' laboratories, then in 2024, after receiving the first versions of platforms and equipment, we plan to go to field tests, where we will test the platforms. By 2025, we will complete the development of radio modules, and by 2026 we will put them into serial production at our plant in Dubna. We continue to hope for new qualified engineers, of whom we currently lack in our team."

Alexander Komarov, CEO of Bulat LLC (manufacturer of telecommunications and IT equipment), reported on the development of software for base stations: "We are implementing a project to create a software and hardware complex for a line of 2G/4G base stations. We have already concluded two forward contracts with Rostelecom PJSC and MegaFon PJSC. We have chosen to create a cooperation for the implementation of the project. Bulat is responsible for creating the product and executing forward contracts. Our partner NTR LLC is responsible for software development. We rely on the mandatory presence of GSM voice communication as part of our solution. This service will be in demand for several more years. In addition, we pay attention to solutions using TDD technology, because we understand the specifics of frequency spectrum distribution in Russia. Issues of parallel import of TDD solutions are very problematic, so we see prospects in this. The plans include the inclusion of the developed base station software in the register of Russian software in April 2024. Planned start We have postponed the small and medium series production of BS from August to April 2024. By the end of spring, we plan to show the first soldered samples of BS in the Russian Federation and confirm their operability. By October 2024, we will be in full swing installing domestic software on BSs operating in the network."

Vladimir Freinkman, Vice President for Marketing and Partner Relations at Protey NTC, shared the progress of the company's project: "We continue to implement the 4G Mobile Network Core project. At the end of 2022, we signed a forward contract with Rostelecom PJSC. It is calculated until the end of 2027. The cost of the project is just over RUB 2 billion, of which Rostelecom invested 50.1% and 49.9% was a grant from the Russian Foundation for the Development of Information Technologies. We are finalizing the 4G mobile network core and implementing it in several regions where Tele2 is present, in particular, to fulfill the terms of the contract, according to which at least one region must serve at least 10 million subscribers. In 2023, we deployed a BS prototype in the Protey NTC laboratory, demonstrated it to telecom operators and the Russian Foundation for the Development of Information Technologies. At the moment, we are finalizing the necessary functionality according to the technical specifications with testing in the Tele2 laboratory. By the end of July 2024, we will complete this testing and in the second half of 2024 we will begin deploying the network in one of the regions."
