Post by ishanijerin1 »

Seven & i Holdings, which operates a variety of retail formats including convenience stores, mass retailers, and department stores, has launched a new strategy. The key point is that the entire group is working on it.

From a 290,000 yen coat to a 30 yen stick of chewing gum
In the women's fashion category, there are mouton coats for 290,000 yen and black formal jackets for 90,000 yen. In the
cosmetics category, there are more than 30 types of lip balm for a few hundred yen.

This site where you can buy all sorts office 365 database of things is "omni7," an online shopping service from Seven & i Holdings.
Eight group companies participate, including Seibu Sogo, Ito Yokado, 7-Eleven, Loft, and Akachan Honpo.
Until now, each company had its own independent online shopping service, but in November 2015, an integrated site was opened.
So, you can buy everything here, from expensive items sold at Seibu and Sogo, to snacks from the food section at Ito Yokado, to cosmetics sold at Loft.

The product lineup is an astounding 1.8 million items. It is a style that allows you to buy and use all products and services in one place, regardless of the store type.
This saves you the trouble of creating an account on each site, and also has the advantage of being able to receive your items all at once.
Omni7's goal is to have a site where you can buy an astounding 6 million items by fiscal year 2018, so it looks like they will have an astonishing selection of products.

24 hours a day at 18,000 Seven-Eleven stores nationwide

Just like regular online shopping, you can pay shipping fees and have the product delivered to your home, but what makes Omni7 unique is that you can pick up your online order at one of the 18,000 7-Eleven stores nationwide. What's more,
since it's a convenience store, it's open 24 hours a day. If you're someone who's often away from home, it's more convenient than using a delivery service because you can pick it up at your convenience. If you pick it up at
a 7-Eleven, there are no shipping fees or handling fees.
