What are fans? How are they different from customers?

At iRidge, we define a "fan" as follows:
A fan is someone who not only purchases but also repeats purchases and recommends our products to others.
Many customers buy a product or service ig database once and then abandon it without returning.
On the other hand, fans are people who love a product or service and are more likely to continue using it on an ongoing basis.
Not only that, fans also tend to recommend the products they like to others.
The impact of fans
Repeat customer retention rate
Fans have a strong attachment to their favorite products and services and often continue to purchase and use them, making it easy for companies to generate regular profits.
There is no need to take measures to acquire repeat customers as with new customers, and there is no need to spend time or money on acquisition.
Have you ever become a fan of something and ended up purchasing or using it again?
For example, I'm sure you've all had the experience of becoming a fan of something, saying things like, "This candy was delicious, so I'll buy it again," or "I bought this T-shirt for the first time the other day, and it was comfortable to wear. Are there any other good ones?"
Giving your customers the same experience can lead to repeat purchases and continued use of your products or services.
Turning fans into influencers
Many fans tend to recommend products and services to others around them, which can be a way for fans to become influencers themselves and attract new customers.
As an end user, you will feel more comfortable considering using a product or service recommended by someone with whom you have a connection, rather than one recommended by someone with whom you have no connection.
There are probably many different types of fans around you, such as idol fans, train fans, and sports fans.
Aren't those people very knowledgeable about the things they like?
And when it's recommended to you, it gives you a sense of security and makes you think, "Oh, now I'm interested in it too."
