Mobile music identification app Shazam has announced the launch of a new, large-scale augmented reality (AR) platform for all of its partners, artists and users worldwide.
The company has been working on personalized content innovation for some time now , and since it launched its visual recognition feature in 2015, Shazam has partnered with a number of brands and artists.
This is a major step forward in visual technology and its offering . Users will be able to participate in immersive experiences , allowing brands to reach audiences through an engaging and interactive new medium.
This new platform will bring any marketing netherlands phone data element to life with the app's 'Shazam Codes' scanning function. Thanks to these codes, users will be able to enjoy different augmented reality experiences with 3D animations, product visualizations, mini-games and 360-degree videos.
“We knew we were onto something big when we launched our visual recognition technology in 2015 ,” said Shazam CEO Rich Riley. “With augmented reality growing rapidly , Shazam’s natural evolution is to be a pioneer in the widespread adoption of augmented reality.”
In this project, Shazam will partner with Beam Suntory, Inc. , the world's third-largest spirits company, and together they will participate in an augmented reality experience that will invite consumers of legal age to try Shazam Sauza® or Hornitos® Tequila.
