The most important thing is to understand the following points:
Stage Conversion Rate : As a potential customer progresses through your sales funnel, the chances of them becoming a customer increase. Therefore, your conversion rate should increase as the opportunity approaches the end of your sales cycle. Likewise, almost all of your prospects should be lost during the qualification stages of your sales funnel.
Sales cycle time : How long does a prospect spend in each stage of your funnel? Which stages are they spending the most time in? How does this change between prospects who become customers and those who don't?
3. Am I focusing on the right opportunities?
The solution to this problem is very simple. It consists of rigorously qualifying my prospects. Try to focus your time on those who fit your company's target customer profile.
The volume of deals in my sales funnel may be significantly reduced. But, over time, you realize that many of these prospects won't convert into customers. Therefore, you must look for other options. This includes finding the right opportunities and thoroughly qualifying your prospects.

The best way to determine if your salespeople understand your sales process is by asking them questions and listening to their answers. Similarly, measure how long it takes your new salespeople to understand your funnel. The faster they do it, the better.
